With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. Lancaster of Hamptonville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Campbell and Margaret Bradley Campbell; and her siblings, Betty Ervin, Maxine Blanton and Bobby Campbell.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Lancaster; her children, Wendy L. Fowler (Jonas) of Mooresboro, Tena Lancaster of Jonesville, NC, Wayne Lancaster, Jr. (Tereeca) of Yadkinville, NC and Andrew Lancaster of Hamptonville, NC; her sisters, Patricia Fowler of Ellenboro and Judy Covington of Boiling Springs, NC; and her grandchildren, Contessia Farney (Andrew), Brandon Lancaster, Elizabeth Pinnix, Adam Lancaster (Hannah), Justin Lancaster (Brianna), Emma Johns (Collin), Carmine Lancaster and Isabella Lancaster. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park (1565 Oakland Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
