She was predeceased by: her parents, John Virgil Mahaffey and Stella Mae Ladd Mahaffey; her siblings, Ruby Cates, Noel Johnston, Ruth Mason, Maxine Shoemaker, Curtis Mahaffey, Billy Mahaffey and Arzy Mahaffey; and her children, Deborah Louise Parks Pruitt and Craig Gary Parks.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Gary Parks; her grandsons, Matthew Lee Pruitt and Jonathan Gary Pruitt; her son-in-law David Pruitt; her siblings, Evelyn Edwards (Dwight), Arlene Johnson and Larry Mahaffey; and her sister-in-law Sharon Thompson (Richard). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
