He is survived by: his wife Teresa Messick; his children, Jacob Messick of Hamptonville, Michael Messick (Evy Crumb) of Hamptonville and Kellie Messick (Branden Stamper) of Hamptonville; his siblings, Steve Messick (Becky) of Hamptonville, Joe Messick (Anita) of Hamptonville, Dennis Messick (Debbie) of East Bend, Sharon Church (Junior) and Regina Howell; and his grandchildren, Hunter Messick, Jacob Messick Jr. and Brantley Messick Stamper.
