With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Lee Sloop Pinnix of Hamptonville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Monroe and Cora Lee Mounce Sloop; her husband Nelson Byron Pinnix; her daughter Sandra Lee; and her siblings, Iris, Mary, Richard, Aubrey, Tommy, Monroe, Bud, Frankie Sloop, Lucy Smith, Barbara Reinhardt, Vena Caudle and Annie Shore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Goforth, Kay Mathis (Danny) and Wanda Shaffner; her grandchildren, David Goforth, Allison Hughes (Sam), Amy Allred and Michael Shaffner; her great grandchildren, Katherine Bullard, Jack Leonard and Olivia Hughes; her siblings, Betty Burney and Jerry Sloop; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Shore and Barbara Pinnix.
Due to COVID-19, those in attendance are requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
