He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin C. Turner and Martie Swaim Turner; and his brother Edwin Turner (Wanda). He is survived by: his wife Ethel Melinda Renegar Turner; his daughter Sara Turner Spann (Tim); his grandchildren, Amber Harris (Martin) and Whitney N. Spann; his great grandchildren, David Griffin, Hunter Lane and Kingston Harris; his stepson Howard Wayne Collins, Jr.; his siblings, Cecil Tuner, Calvin Turner, Grace Steelman (Harold), Gail Walker and Angie Gunter; his pet Daisy Mae; and his niece Jeanette Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
