He was predeceased by: his parents, Judy Brooks Stanley (Hill) and Bruce Stanley; his grandparents, Daisy, Hugh Brooks, Kenny and Hessie Stanley; and his father-in-law Gerald B Hill.
He is survived by: his husband Mark Edwin Hill-Stanley; his brother Keith Stanley (Lynn) of Yadkinville; his nephew Kenny Stanley (Anna) of Clemmons, NC; his niece Jessica Stanley of Charlotte, NC; his great-nieces, Emmy and MJ of Clemmons, NC; his mother-in-law Elaine Hill of Banner Elk, NC; his brothers-in-law, Kenny Hill-Wright (Butch) of Nashville and Jimmy Hill (John Adams III) of Raleigh, NC.; his nephew Landy Hussong-Wright of Nashville; his pets, Rufus, Gracie, Truvy, Max, Stella and Beau; and also, Dianne Hayden (Lynn), Maryann Stanley, Sharon Brown (Billy), Sheila Weathers (Michael), Heather Johnson (Josh), Michael Hayden (Kim), Michelle Hewitt and Tiffany Crabb.
