He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Aldas and Emma Myers Allred; his siblings, R. A. Allred, Marcus Allred and Marjorie Allred Caudle; his former wife Doris June Smoot; and his sons, William Eugene "Billy" Allred and Mark Steven Allred.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Rash Allred; his son George Kenneth "Butch" Allred (Vickie) of Hamptonville; his grandson Justin Allred (Lisa) of Mint Hill; and his stepsons, Ricky of Randy and Leroy Rash. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; 2 sep-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3616 Buck Shoals Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020, Yadkin Christian Ministries, 117 Woodlyn Drive, Yadkinville, NC 27055, or to the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 West Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
