We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2024, at the age of 90, Elsie Bunton Chappell Souther (Hamptonville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Manley Bunton and Verlie Wallace Bunton; her husbands, Milton Chappell and Wake Souther; her children, David Milton Chappell and Helen Annette Martin (Larry); her siblings, Pansey B. Woods, Nora "Reba" B. Russell, James Robert Bunton and Johnny Harold Bunton; and her son-in-law Barry Honeycutt.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra C. Honeycutt of Hamptonville; her grandchildren, Tonya Martin, Selena Andrews and Jason Honeycutt (Misty); and her daughters-in-law, Vickie Chappell and Jan Simmons Foster. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren.
