He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Meadows Shoemaker; his wife Marsha Kay Shoemaker; and his daughter Barbara Jean Fulkner. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Lisa Shoemaker), Charles William Shoemaker, Jr., Robbie Nash and Evelyn Brooks (Charlotte Johnson); and his siblings, Doris Haynes and Alfred Shoemaker. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
