She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clay Macy and Nellie Laura Swaim Macy; and her sister Patricia Ann Macy Woodle. She is survived by: her son Shane Vanhoy; her brothers, Gray Macy (Mary) and Ronnie Macy; and her sister-in-law Gayle Salley (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (2616 Buck Shoals Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020).
