He was predeceased by: his parents, G. L. "Lib" Whitehead and Norma Barnhill Whitehead Murray; and his son Bryan Lee Whitehead. He is survived by: his wife Janet Groves Whitehead; his sons, Michael Whitehead and Bill Whitehead (Julie); and his grandchildren, Zachary Robbins, Grace Whitehead, Trent Whitehead, Presley Whitehead and Brandon Whitehead.
