He was predeceased by: his sister Christie Adams. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Worrell (Jonathan) of Burgaw, Brittney Irrera of Wilmington, Salifaye Pierce of Tabor City, Rochelle Pierce of Tabor City, Joseph Smith of Wilmington, William Donovan Pierce (Tracey) of Florida, Hunter Pierce of North Carolina and Nicholas Pierce of Tabor City; his parents, Archie William Pierce and Elma Blanton Pierce; and his siblings, Suzanne Szaikiewicz (Mike) of Leland, Allen Pierce of Hampstead and Darlene Adams of Lumberton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
