He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Linwood Walton and Ethel Ruth Bryant Walton; his wife Frances Weeks Walton of Covid; and his grandson Francisco Alexander Santacruz. He is survived by: his sister Loretta Moore; his children, Kimberly Walton Joyce (Jeff) and Thomas Matthew Walton (Heather); his stepchildren, Michael Curtis Compton, Janice Charlene Dickey and Virginia Carol Santacruz; his grandchildren, Christina Diane Ramirez (Brandon), Rebecca Lynn Baker (Marshall), McKinley Walton Gobble, Riley Thomas Gobble, Timothy Knox Walton and Karis Joy Walton; and his great grandchildren, Ava Charlene, Joseph Ethan Ramirez, Hallie Frances, Elijah Garrett Compton, Frances Bailey, Michael Atticus McGowen and Virginia Elaine Baker.
