With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Dawn Hartman (Hampstead, North Carolina), born in Decatur, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gail, Janet Auer, Robert and Elizabeth Scheiber. She is survived by: her parents, Roland Scheiber and Debra Auer Scheiber; her son Richard "Davis" Hartman III; her husband Richard Davis Hartman Jr.; her child Karli; her siblings, Melinda Odom (Trey), Brianne Scheiber (Meg) and Adam (Alecia); her niece Kennedy Odom; and her nephews, Brandon, Caiden Scheiber and Krew Odom. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the All Saints Catholic Church Building Fund.
