She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Livingston McAdam and Matthew Sylvester; her husband Richard William Martuscelli; her son Richard William Martuscelli, Jr.; her siblings, Edmund Sylvester, Albert Sylvester, Josephine Goodman and Louise Baresi; her children, Janine Theresa Martuscelli-Berg, Gina Maria Martuscelli, Thomas Alan Martuscelli (Anna) and Gerald Edmund Martuscelli (Lynn); her daughter-in-law Mary Kennedy Martuscelli; her grandchildren, Ricky Martuscelli, Tommy Martuscelli, Janelle Berg, Valter Berg, Alicia Martuscelli, Shannon Icard, Matthew Vanderwal, Bryan Vanderwal, Brendan Vanderwal, Mason Martuscelli, Gina Martuscelli and Jennifer Martuscelli; and her great grandchildren, Will Martuscelli, Rosa Prisco and Elena Icard. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

At the age of 17, she made the mortgage payment on her parent's home after her father's death, in 1947, due to Parkinson's disease.
