She was predeceased by: her parents, William Randolph and Mamie Lee Thorne; her husband Dewey Lee Emmett, Jr.; and her siblings, Buddy Thorne and Lina Watson.
She is survived by: her children, David Emmett (Amanda) of Raleigh and Patricia Arnold (David) of Quemado, NM.; her grandchildren, Matthew Williams (Kandice), Sara Hill (Brent), Luke Emmett and John Emmett; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Northcutt of Missoula, MT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
