She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Carpenter and Rosa Carpenter; and her brother Alton B.. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Groves of Hampstead; and her children, Danny Beistel (Debbie), Shawn Beistel (Wendy), Michael Beistel (Rhonda), Cindy Groves McKinley (Randy) and Eric Groves (Kim). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
