She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Clifton "Cliff" Watson; her parents, Charlie Snipes and Pattie Snipes; her son Bobby Crook; and her sisters, Elsie Snipes Dawson and Dorothy Snipes Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Crook Allen (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Summer Allen, Aspen Allen, Grant Allen, Dustin Crook (Mary Beth) and Bradley Watson (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Brylie Crook, Jalyn Crook and Uriah Watson. She is also survived by several loving nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Joyce's name to Grace Baptist Church, 202 Kincaid Avenue N, Wilson, North Carolina, 27893.
