She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Crumpler and Elsie Autry Crumpler; her brother Robert "Bobby" Nathan Crumpler; her daughter-in-law Erin Wood; and her husband John Noel Walton of Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Jessica Wood Sasser (William "Don" Sasser) of Greenville and Kelvin Thales Wood, Jr. of Roxboro, NC; her grandson Bradley Nathan Wood of Roxboro, NC; her stepson Jeff Walton (Susan) of Chapel Hill, NC; her stepgrandsons, Zack Walton (Hannah) of Waxhaw, NC and Nick Walton of Morrisville, NC; and her brother Rayford Graham Crumpler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
