He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Fay Drish Eady (Nicholas), Michael Selden Drish and John Michael Drish, Jr. (Melanie D.); his grandchildren, Selbie Lyn Drish, Whitni D. Leedy (Jason), John Michael Drish III (Sydney), Jaxon Barrett Drish, Hunter Melton (Leighanne) and Walker Melton; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Leedy, Colson Leedy, Kyleigh Melton and Levi Melton.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
