As we bid adieu to Janie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Janie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Al Cockrell; and her parents, Henry Burrow and Viola Burrow. She is survived by: her sons, Brek, Jonathan and Thad. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Topsail High School (245 N St Johns Church Rd, Hampstead, NC 28443). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Sea Lawn Memorial Park (17750 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the future home of Renovation Church.
