It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Murray Sr. of Hampstead, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. F. "Rex" Murray and Lib Murray of Hampstead; and his son James R. Murray, Jr.. He is survived by: his niece Tanya Murray; his wife Patsy Murray; his daughter Jaimee Cappelletti; his son-in-law Don Cappelletti; his grandchildren, Lily and Dean Cappelletti; and his siblings, George, Tony, John Murray, Diane Cressman, Sue Strickland and Debra Kellum.
