He was predeceased by: his parents, David Oliver and Frances Laurel Rhydderch; his children, Heather Shannon (John), Hope Zunzunegui (Joe) and David Rhydderch (Maryanne); and his grandchildren, Connor Shannon (Kaitlyn), Elizabeth "Lizzy" Shannon, Jackie Zunzunegui and Brynn Rhydderch.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Grace Rhydderch; his sister Gail Reines (Howard); and his friend Mac. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
