With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald F. Flentje of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Flentje and Mary Flentje (Smokovitz); and his siblings, Russel and Jeanette Kirschtein. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Schonowski Flentje; his children, Michael, Jerry, Brenda and Christy; his children-in-law, Joseph Prettyman, Debra Flentje and Susan Flentje; his siblings, Donald, Ruth Ann Beck, Linda Breunig, Melvina Meyer and Betty Deming; his grandchildren, Andrew, Alison, Alexandra, Kyle, Brent, Lily, Amanda and Grace; and his great grandchild Walter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
