We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2020, at the age of 80, Georgette Kowaleski Rodgers of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Queens, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Kowaleski and Anna Kowaleski; and her sister Leona Lloyd. She is survived by: her sister Althea Nastasi; her children, Tracy Kvies (Rich Kvies) of Ponte Vedra, Tammy Bruestle (Brad Bruestle) of Wilmington, NC, Kellie Shanahan (Ron Shanahan) of Wilmington, NC and Eugene Rodgers (Melanie Rodgers) of Summerfield, NC.; her grandchildren, Kirsten Kvies Smith (Will Smith), Kyle Kvies (Angela Kvies), Thomas Harvey, Tayler-Jeanne Harvey (Chase Denton), Ty Shanahan, Karly Shanahan, Connor Shanahan and Georgia Rodgers; her great grandchild Madison Grace Kvies; and her husband Eugene Rodgers.
