He was predeceased by: his husband Charles Alfred Sanders; his daughter-in-law Sharon Hopkins Sanders; his sisters, Mildred Golden, Virginia Clewis Woody and Betty Clewis Craven; and his parents, George Sellars and Maud Mintz Sellars.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald W. Sanders (Brenda) of Hampstead, NC, Michael K. Sanders (Michelle) of Utah and Karen D. Sanders of Utah. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alma's name may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice at 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
