It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Mennona (Hampstead, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Mennona and Elsie Mennona; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Robert and Louise Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Mennona (Lelde), Matthew Mennona (Mary), Stephen Mennona, Donald Mennona, Patricia (George Jones), Katherine (Marc Benjamin) and Eileen (Steven Govett); and his sisters, Anne Smith of Falmouth, MA and Patricia Dunsmore of Beaconsfield, Quebec..
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to family on Thursday, February 4th.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at Fort Bragg, NC or The Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington, N.C.
