He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Acorn and Ruth Giesen Acorn. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice M. Acorn; his children, Deborah Acorn of Greenwood, SC, Karen Benfield (Dave) of Middletown, MD, Linda Budzinski (Joe) of Sterling, VA and Edward Acorn, Jr. (Kristin) of Goldsboro, NC; his grandchildren, Emily Stoltman (Cody), Sarah Keno (Shane), Kayla, Teddy III and Owen; his great grandchild Hayes; and his siblings, Ruth Clowes, Doug Acorn (Maryann) and Donald Acorn (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
