With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Hollis Batts of Hampstead, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James David and Nancy Hollon Parker Hollis; and her husband Eugene "Gene" Batts, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Atkinson (Charles), Harold Batts (Martha), Ken Batts (Jane) and Leslie Batts. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many extended family.
