She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Parker and Vera Stevens Parker; her husband Edward Lucian Crumpler; her children, Michael Crumpler and Carolyn Haney; and her siblings, Madeline Shaw, Flonnie Boyette and David Parker.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Crumpler (Renae) of Hampstead and Steven Carson Crumpler (Brenda) of Graham; and her sister Melvia Sloan (Ron). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
