It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Jones of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Jones and Anne Jones; and his friend Jerry Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Tommy Jones (April), Abby Jones and Travis Jones; and his siblings, Ed Jones (Brenda), John Jones (Gina), Debbie Miller (John) and Judy Clark (Deana). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Pender County Animal Shelter in honor of his passion for animals.
