It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Verzaal Coleman (Hampstead, North Carolina), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Verzaal, Jr. and Betty Cook Verzaal; and her husband James C. Coleman. She is survived by: her son Aaron K. Carter Coleman (Tania); her granddaughter Alana Ann Coleman; her sister Frances V. Vail (Dave); her aunt Sophia V. West; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Carter (Joe) and Ray Coleman; her stepsister Kay Bryant (Brian); her nephew Robert Eugene Verzaal; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Avery Verzaal and Tiffany Verzaal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
