He was predeceased by: his fathers, Arthur Potts and Donald; and his brother Kenneth G. Potts. He is survived by: his wife Linda Goepel Potts; his daughters, Virginia Kreutzkamp (William) and Katherine Potts (Robbie Nieves); and his grandchildren, McKenzie, Liam, Connor Kreutzkamp and Alaina Nieves.

In lieu of flowers donations in Donald's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
