He is survived by: his wife Lynne Boykin Barnes; his siblings, Jack Barnes (Cathy) of Hampstead and Gayle Currin (Hillman) of Oxford; his siblings-in-law, Douglas Boykin of Wilmington and Linda Boykin of Fuquay Varina; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Annette Barnes, Chris, Angela Barnes, Frank, Kim Currin, Randy, Marie Currin, Larry, LeeAnn Cook, Danny, Susan Boykin and Chad Boykin.
