She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Panaccione and Patricia Panaccione. She is survived by: her husband Richard Mark Shannon; her children, Heather Quaranta of Charlotte and Adam Shannon of Hampstead; and her grandchildren, Simone, Naomi, Ciel and Talia Quaranta.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the National Alliance of Mental Health (NAMI), in memory of Denise Shannon.
