He is survived by: his wife Pamela Simmons; his sons, Carson Henry Smith Jr. (Jennifer), Anthony Dow Smith (Tracy) and Christopher Dale Smith (Sharon); his grandchildren, Adam (Lúcia), Natalie, Quinton, Rachel, Hannah, Luke, Grace, Sarah, Rebekah and Leah; and his siblings, Merle Lea (Chook) and Lorenzo Dow Smith (L. D.).
