He is survived by: his mother Karen Whalen (Tom) of Hampstead, NC; his sister Jessica Wright (Mark) of Portland, OR; his nephew Jackson; his niece Lucille; his grandmother Patricia Carter of Richmond, KY; and his children, Alana, Gabe and Ryan.
