He was predeceased by: his father Robert Phiel, Sr. (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Sue Phiel (Hohenwarter); his mother Linda Phiel (Newlin); and his sisters, Wendy Phiel and Jen Fort (Clive). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews; and 13 grand nieces and nephews.
