He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Ralph Nichols and Eva Nichols Moore; and his siblings, Carl Nichols, Herman Nichols, Vernon Nichols and Betty Robinson Harrell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Horne of Wilson and Bob Nichols (Margie) of Rocky Mount; his children, Michael Nichols of Wilmington and Jennifer Reiter (Jim) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kaden and Phillips; and his great grandchild Emma.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Billy's name to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
