She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rose Mattia and Edward Mattia; her husband Jerry Coy; her children, Amber Brekhus (Jim) of Wilmington, Gina Blackwell (David) of Wilmington and Jeremy Coy (Sunny) of Hampstead; her grandchildren, Hannah, Landon Brekhus, Dyer and Evan Mae Coy; and her siblings, Beverly Nasci and Eddie Mattia. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Because of involvement in "needs based" woman's health, the family wishes donations be made to Planned Parenthood at weareplannedparenthood.org in lieu of flowers.
