We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 62, Wanda Gibson Melton (Hamlet, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Ingram. She is survived by: her father Norman Gibson; her husband Lee Melton; her sons, Kyle Melton (Jewell) of Wilmington and Travis Melton (Crystal) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Leighton Melton and Gauge Melton; and also Norman Gibson.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made out to St. Jude's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
