She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl J. Roscoe and Ethel J. Roscoe; her son James Michael McDuffie; her granddaughter Kelli Marie Burgess; and her siblings, Ann R. Bundy, Ed Roscoe, Jimmy Roscoe and Leonard Roscoe.
She is survived by: her aunts, Virginia and Gina; her children, Henry R. McDuffie and Joan M. Monroe (Bill) of Hamlet, NC; her daughter-in-law Kathy M. Sanborn (Bruce) of Rockwell, NC.; her grandchildren, Josh McDuffie (Jessica) of Clemmons, NC and Brittany M. Chavis (Jared) of New London, NC.; her great grandchildren, Jaelyn Marie Monroe, Addison Joy Monroe, Brooks Michael McDuffie, Hank Harrison Chavis, Acen Riggs Burgess, Campbell James Chavis, Harper Ryan Tidd, Hope Riggan Burgess and Collins Quinn Chavis; her sister Peggy R. Howdyshell of Milledgeville, GA; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Roscoe Maree of Hamlet, NC, Pat Roscoe of Rockingham, NC, Sandy Roscoe of Marshall, NC., Arthur McDuffie (Barbara), Vann McDuffie, Carole M. Venable of Hamlet, NC, Juanita Owensby (Jim) of Hamlet, NC and Shirley McDuffie of Hamlet, NC; and her son-in-law Bill Monroe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
