She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Jasper Thompson and Mary Locklear Thompson. She is survived by: her grandson Marc Hodges; her stepsons, James Malloy and Charles Malloy; her siblings, J. P. Thompson, Rev. Melvin Thompson, Willie J. Thompson, Leroy Thompson, Samuel Thompson, Edna Perhealth, Ellen Chavis, Mary Ann Milligan, Thelma Demery and Peggy Thompson; her daughter Angela Arrington (Michael) of Hamlet; her stepchildren, Bettie Barrentine of Laurinburg, Dean Malloy of Hamlet and Diane Buchanan of Hamlet; her sisters, Sarah Sewell, Ester Leviner, Bonnie Leviner and Joyce Thompson of Gibson; and her grandchildren, James Hodges and Jacqueline Marie Arrington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
The family will have a time of viewing on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service with COVID-19 restrictions of facial mask and social distancing.
