He was predeceased by: his father Troy Sanford McPherson, Sr.; and his siblings, James McPherson, Troy S. McPherson, Jr., Joyce Williams, Juanita McPherson and Jeannette M. Stubbs.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Norton Stubbs of Laurinburg; his wife Ethel Grooms McPherson; his children, Tony Wayne McPherson, Jr. of Hamlet, Anthony Dale McPherson of Hamlet, Adam Preston McPherson of Hamlet and Faith Nicole McPherson of Bennettsville, SC; and his sister Cathy M. Barbee (Richard) of Laurinburg. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, along with a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to current COVID-19 status, facial masks with social distancing are required at all services.
