She is survived by: her parent Sallie Herring Strickland; her sister Sue Lewis (Terrell) of Lake Lure; her brother-in-law Harold High; and her nieces and nephews, Leigh Hammond, Robbie Lewis, Melinda McKay, Caroline High and Harold Worth High, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
