He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hicks and Mary Collens Hicks; his wife Angela Dannielle Hicks; and his brothers, Robert, Oland and Donald Gene Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Hicks, Kenny Stewart, Rhonda Collins (Alvin), Ronald Stubbs (Ammie), Jamie Stubbs (Carrie), Christopher Hicks (Melanie Gordan) and Curtis Hicks; and his siblings, Charlie Hicks, Virginia McIntyre, Betty Terry, Billy Hicks, Lonnie Hicks (Joy), Cathy Pruitt (Kenneth) and Wayne Hicks. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
