She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Bennett Jarrell Sr. and Sarah Margaret Currie; and her siblings, Elaine Ross of Hamlet, Carol Jarrell, Ann Andrews of Rockingham, Roger Jarrell and Ricky Jarrell of Rockingham.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Doby; her daughter Stephanie Edmunds (Chuck) of Southern Pines; and her grandchildren, Lacey Steele-Edmunds, Haylie Edmunds and Brady Edmunds.
