He is survived by: his wife Joan Ramsey Bennett of Penick Village; his stepchildren, Susan Wood (David) of Pinehurst, NC, Adam Hardison of Charlotte, NC, Bryan Hardison of Charlotte, NC, Julie Sullivan of Orlando and Carol Hardison of Taos; his nephews, Robby Bennett (Lindsay) of Cheraw, SC, Paul Bennett of Cheraw, SC and Mac Bennett (Leslie) of Beaufort, SC; and his brothers-in-law, Claude Ramsey (Kay) of Asheville, NC and Jimmy Ramsey (Gretchen) of Tupelo, Mississippi.. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
