It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wood (Hamlet, North Carolina), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Keltner Wood. He is survived by: his parents, Odell Griffin Wood and Ernestine Parker Wood; and his children, Connie Davis of Hamlet, Mike Wood (Shirley) of Wilmington and Walter Wood (Stacey) of Waynesville. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
