He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brigman and Essie Green Brigman; and his brothers, Howard Brigman and Richard "Dinky" Brigman. He is survived by: his wife Golda Brigman; his son Robert Brigman Jr. (Lenette) of Hamlet; his siblings, John "Toady" Brigman of Hamlet, Patsy Goodman and Mary "Mickey" Milham; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Buie (Johnathan) and Schaley Coulter (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Emily Buie and Destiny Buie.
